Alien ware M17x R4 drivers
Hi all,
First time posting.
I'm on my last legs currently. I've got an m17x from early 2012 with an AMD 7970M card. I'm starting to run into issues with these next-gen games like the Witcher 3 wherein the game is beginning to crash considerably often.
The issue is I can't update my drivers past the Dell supplied versions which are from mid 2013. This is terribly out of date, and it is definitely showing its age with these newer games. Whenever I attempt to perform the download and installation of stable drivers from AMD's site, the discrete card and the switchable functionality arecompletelylost. ( I am willing to sacrifice such as im plugged in 99% of the time). ANy help with getting these drivers up to date would be EXTREMELY appreciated.

Hello,
I believe the newer AMD drivers removed the switchable functionality option but the games should still run with the AMD card. What happens when you run the games using the driver from the AMD site, do they still crash?
