Alienware 17 Alien FX Command Center
My Alienware 17 lights are not working after installing latest driver in Nvidia Geforce Experience. Version 337.88.
This has happened before after installing previous updates to this driver. I clicked the alien fx icon and changed the dim setting to off then on and they worked again.
The alienware fx icon in the bottom right is gone now and the command center is blank in the alien fx tab. I uninstalled command center and reinstalled it and it still wont work. when start up my machine and the desk top loads a small window appears with the following:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Can anybody help me fix this?

Got it
Shut down my machine. Held the power button for 30 seconds, then let go and pressed it again to power up the machine. When the desktop loaded the lights flickered and are now on and command center is working normally also.

Shut down my machine. held my finger on the power button for 30 seconds. Turned it back on. Lights flickered when the desktop loaded. Now they are on and everything is back to normal.
