Alienware 17 consistent weird freezing and BSOD.
Hello, I've owned an Alienware 17 for roughly a year and a half. All has been going moderately well, but a couple of weeks ago, i started getting a weird freeze. On startup, upon hitting the desktop, after a minute or so, it will freeze for about 5 seconds and the fans will go crazy, after that the fans go silent and it remains frozen for a second or two, then goes back to normal. This has been happening every startup and freezing at the exact same time after startup for weeks. Although it is a minor annoyance, it is still concerning.
On top of that, yesterday my laptop also crashed for the first time, with no apparent reasons, i was just watching netflix so there's no reason to suspect it overheated. It just completely shut off with no warning. I tried turning it back on, and it shut off as soon as it hit the desktop. I felt my laptop to make sure nothing was excessively hot, and it wasn't, I also used SpeedFan to check temperatures. Temperatures werent high, but I noticed my GPU temperatures reads 0 degrees very often (more often than not) now. MSI Afterburner also shows this 0 degrees reading.
Today I was just watching netflix again, not doing anything that could be considered demanding, and my laptop crashed again. This time I got the BSOD. I decided it's about time I try to get this problem figured out.
Anyone know what it could be? I ran the diagnostics via hitting f12 on startup, with no problems found. My laptop is running an i7 4700MQ, A gtx 765m, 8gb of ram, a 240gb hyperx ssd, and 750gb storage drive. I dont have any viruses, and I take exceptional care of my laptop, never let it run hot, turn it off every night, etc.

download and boot hirens. you can run exe in that environment. so try winstress and see if your comp crashes.
run the windows install disc. only so that it boots a different environment than your installed windows.
if you don't have any problems with either of these. its most likely a software problem. and an OSRI would solve it.

My computer seems to run well under stress, so I don't think that's the issue.
Would an OSRI have to involve me wiping my computer completely for it to work? And do you know why it would be showing my gpu temperatures at 0 degrees?

an OSRI would definitely tell you if the problem is software or hardware. backup your data, and start fresh. see if your temp reading are they same. I don't know if the temp reading at 0 is a problem. as it could be using the onboard? but then you wont know till you reinstall everything from scratch so that no settings can carry over.
But before you do this lets check your minidumps from the BSODs. that will tell us what is causing it. go into C:\windows\minidump\ and upload those to this site:
copy and paste what it says here
