Alienware 17 keyboard not working

Hello,

I have an Alienware 17 (Mid 2013) and I just took apart the computer to add a larger mSATA drive so I can place the OS and games on it for increased speed. As you know, in order to reach the mSATA slot for the 17 you need to take the keyboard off. I used these following Youtube videos as guides for my trek to disassemble the laptop:

In Video 1, once the person gets to the part to take the keyboard off they only have 1 ribbon (which I believe is the SD card reader) that they need to disconnect. When reassembling, I made sure this ribbon was firmly attached and locked down on the keyboard.

When I put everything else back in and turn on the computer, the lights do not turn on for the keyboard (but the LED strips around the edge turn on). When I try to hit a key to boot from the CD drive nothing happens.

I have diassembled/reassembled 3 times, each time when I've disassembled the SD card (?) ribbon connection is still attached.

Are there anymore connections I am unaware of? Is the connection not as firmly secure as I think? Should I use tape to make the connection more secure?

Thank you

Make sure the wires that are under the keyboard are well connected, otherwise something might got damage during the process.
