Alienware 17 laptop beeping

Hello, I have an Alienware 17 laptop that I bought in December of 2013. It has been a great laptop, I love it so much more then the apple computers I grew up on. But a few months after I upgraded to windows 10 last year, When I would go to start it all the lights would come on, but the screen would stay black and it would beep. The beeps are separated by 3 seconds and are continuos while being same tone. To "fix" this I would power it of and let it sit for awhile, then it would go back to normal. At first it only did this once in awhile, then once a week, now every other day. to "fix" it now I have to power it off and let it sit for a day or two. I wonder if a part is going bad or something. After finding no information on the problem, I thought it would be a good idea to ask you guys. Thanks for any info you might have.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, the 3 beeps could indicate a motherboard failure. Can you please confirm the revision of your laptop (example=Alienware 17 R2/R3)?

Hello thanks for replying; I looked up the service tag/serial number and can confirm it is a 17 R1.

Ok, I don't believe we have replacement parts available for this system anymore, but you could try contacting the Sales department to confirm this.
