Alienware 17-R2, drops to battery mode while playing?
Hello Alienware Club.
I have an issue with my Alienware 17 R2 while I'm playing in games. So, I play in Team Fortress 2, and when I come to a place with lots of players where is a lot of action(shooting etc), Alienware instantly enable Battery Mode so fps drops, adjust low and etc.
The problem is that Power Adapter is still connected while this thing happening and it's really annoying. When I disconnect Adapter and then connect it again - "everything back in its place".
I mean this:
When I disconnect>connect thing that crossed on my screenshot - it doesn't make a sense.
What's problem? How to fix it?
p.s. I'm really sorry for my bad eng, it's not my native, I hope you understand what I wrote.

You need to request the proper power adapter from DELL, they like to send the wrong power supply with these laptops and when your gaming if it pulls too much power the underpowered adapters turn off to keep themselves from getting damaged. I had to request this for mine too about a year ago when I bought it... here is the part numbers:
Dell P/N: FWCRC
REF. NO.: ADP-240AB D
Model: GA240PE1-00
Output: 19.5V 12.3A

Hi,
Update the Bios version to the latest, click here to get the driver.
If the issue persists send me a PM with the Service Tag.

I can't send PM to you.

Do I have to buy it or I need to contact support and request new AC?
