Alienware 17 R4 no eye tracker connected
Hi,
I am getting frustrated with my new alienware more and more every day. First, I have white lines flickering on screen which kinda solved with switching to performance mode. Now to the main point of this topic:
Today it did not wanted to wake up and after a while performed bios test. Now I can run it but windows hello does not work anymore and I guess the reason because I can see the message "No eye tracker connected".
Can anyone please suggest some options, because in tobii tool just written "call your support".

Good News you guys i just had this issue happen to me today and Tobii said to re-flash the bios. when i did it worked. Just get the bios from the software downloads on Dell's website and let it run. My guess is that it had something to do with the firmware and the windows update. Either way it works now

same here just bought this thing and after one week this eye tracker is not working. hello dell are you gonna help?

Mine tobii now works but I am afraid that this could be just temporarily because I moved my laptop or something like this. I installed latest software pack from tobii website and latest drivers from dell site. I jumped between tobii app, device management panel and dell's tests app so long that cannot confirm that it started to work after one of those actions. I called two 24h 365 premium support phone numbers but non of them did not worked! I am switched from mac, so if other vendors have support like dell then I think mac will continue exists even if they release macbook pro without keyboard so you will have to buy dongle for it! :))))))))))

Dude just update the chipset driver download them from dell website. I just solved it and now it is working perfectly. There is code 42 or maybe 43 error which got solved by updating the drivers. One of the usb port is not reading it properly.

I just wanted 17 inch model and tobii was default option. I do not use it at all.

Why do you all buy that not very useful eye tracker feature to begin with ?
