That tool should work fine, you shouldn't have any issues with it.

I have this problem the first time on a pc, generally it works always. I have o call also now the support for the alien fx board.

I go this error when i wanna start gparted, many lines always the same, it's a timeout by the card reader from aurora r4:

...

/init line 173: cannot open /dev/sdb: no medium found

...

Do you know how to fix it ? Perhaps other boot parameters to deactivate the card reader ?

Sry, only the device "sxx" is different in the errors, perhaps the different card reader drives authentications.

What's the revision of your Aurora?

Hi, my Revision is Aurora R4.

I think it's the alien-fx board what is corrupt. It's connected with the card reader It think. It was from beginning corrupt because the led's were always on when it was shut downed.

There is also an error in the Eventmanager with Event ID 10, I posted on Microsoft answers. Now I saw another error with Whea-logger event.

I will phone on monday the support and then I write back ok.

The issue that you are describing, I'm pretty sure it's not related to this, we have an article with a fix for that, check it out:

Now, for the gparted tool, I'd recommend that you uninstall it completely and try to re install it.

I finished to reinstall my windows, I made a completly format on the HDD. The error with the lights "seem" to be fixed. It's possible that the Recovery Partition was corrupt, there was also some Handles to this recovery partition from WIndows.

When I can correct you, I'm using a LIVE CD of gparted and there isn't any installation, you know.

The Card Reader is connected on the Alien FX Board. The Alien FX Board is corrupt because when I'm using AIDA64 or I want to look some informations of this Alien FX Controller Board it crashed or the information won't show correctly. The USB-Ports also are making jokes sometimes.

Another problem is when I want to repair the new installation for any reason and using the F8 key and it comes to the repair screen, It's telling me that my Installation isn't identical, I don't know why.
