Alienware Aurora R7 hardware questions
Just Got a new R7 with the i7 8700 (not 8700K) processor. Is the 8700 supposed to be liquid or air cooled? Also, will the two 2.5" HHD bays on the bottom hold just 7mm drives or will it also take the higher capacity 15mm drives?
That's what I'd like to know. These days, a pc tower, let alone a high end gaming pc with only one 3.5" bay is unheard of. I read on Reddit one person hooked up a 3.5" HDD and just lay it on top of the two 2.5" bays on the bottom. Anyone here "modded" their system to hold more than one 3.5" drive?

Hi gvout,
Liquid cooling is always optional.
7mm only, 15 mm won't fit without modding the chassis.
