Alienware Graphic Amplifier Thunderbolt 3?
I was watching CES and Razer Core and Asus GX2 are releasing their Alienware "inspired" graphic amplifier. Both seem to be better product than Alienware graphic amplifier since their case is bigger than Alienware, so bigger gpu could be fitted in there. I saw a youtuber could not fit a MSI brand 980ti into his Alienware graphic amplifier because it's a tad long.
In addition, the Razer and Asus are thunderbolt 3 so the bandwidth is huge. And their graphic amplifier charge the laptop battery while attach via thunderbolt.
I was interested in buying an Alienware graphic amplifier but will definitely wait a bit longer because Alienware might update their 2 years old graphic amplifier? :)
At the moment, Alienware denies of such a product when I asked them. Any thoughts?

ok, maybe i'll wait until nvidia release their next gen gpu. hopefully alienware release new amplifier too. my gtx 980m handles 4k gaming like big boss at the moment with mixture of medium, high graphic settings.

We have not been given any information about this. For the moment, we only have one Alienware graphics amplifier.

Why would you bother waiting for a new Alienware Thunderbolt GA?It doesn't make sense.
Surely the advantage of Thunderbolt is that any manufacturer can produce these devices (and many will, and probably do it better than Alienware, too). Maybe Nvidia will produce one themselves, since it could be used with a lot of Thunderbolt-capable laptops and other hardware.
We'll no longer be tied into the proprietary Alienware GA/PCIE set up, and that will be a Good Thing.
