Alienware M14r3 touchpad won't light when startup
My alienware touchpad won't go light. when i first bought it the touchpad ussualy light when it start and than turn of second later, it happend too when the alien fx go light, it glow for a moment and than turn of but now the touhpad won't light anymore execpt if i touch it. I think there is something wrong with the bios because when one time i brought it to dell service to reinstall but they change the boot screen into windows 7 boot screen but i finally can restore it into alienware windows 8 boot screen back in the boot menu but i'm not sure if i choose the correct option.
Somebody please help.. :(

So, you want it to be always on ? Not only when you use it?

that's not what I meant, the touchpad is working good, when i use it it glow and than turned off when not in use,
but when i go light from dark mode ussually all the light will glow include the touchpad without you have to touch it but now the touchpad won't glow, and the same happened when i enable my touchpad, it ussally glow for a short period of time when you press fn+f11 without touching it but now it's dark unless you touch it,
you know how to fix it??
thanks

On the BIOS,
Navigate to advanced, look for "Touchpad Backlight"... Change it from "Auto" to "On"

no, when i press the alien fx all of the alieware light used to go light together include the touchpad, the touchpad will go light in the begining, but now only the keyboard, mouse, and the other that light 'except' the touchpad, the touchpad won't light at the same time when i press the alien fx,
