Alienware m17 x r4 Cooling issue

Hi today im facing with new issue, my dell cooling system is on all the time, and im talking here GPU cooling which is placing in right corner, i dont know what is going on, dell support assist program made update after that this issue will start. Its blowing out a cool air, its not hot or anything.

its dell alienware m17xr4 with geforce 675m GPU

ram 16gb

running on wiondows 8.1

So i need help

You can try preforming a power drain and BIOS up date.

As well check the system temperatures just to make sure is not overheating, this article might help you to check them in the proper way.

It was the update that did it. I had the same problem and so did a lot of others. I did a restoration to an earlier time and got rid of the updates and my fan went back to normal. You can stop Dell from doing automatic updates in future by going into the Support Assist or PC Checkup settings under the Privacy tab. That update really made a mess of a lot of computers. I won't let it happen to mine again. Hope this helps resolve your problem.
