Alienware m17x r1 trouble
My computer was doing well then then everthing was not responding like it just got slow it seems to be making less noise its like it quit using the hardware in it the ram 4 GB the processor is duo core or 2 core intel the graphics card is up to date with a Gforce 260 i cant look at that all the way my compiluter is not responding to sum up my hareware I could play black ops 2 ultra settings at 20fps and sniper elite v2 qnd farcry 3 at medium settings 20fps mw2 and waw go at around a good 30-40 fps and gta 4 with low settings at 30fps thouse are estimets. Sorry i hqve to use my phone i am bad a spelling with my phone.i updated every thing and i did the msconfig cleanboot i need help because the steam sale is about to end on the 30.

well the problem is not the fps being slow or low it is that my computer is not at its full speed for anything. everything will stop responding in around 5-10 minutes and that never happens like that normally. Its like the computer is not performing like it should I updated everything. when it stops responding it can take around 10-15 minutes to start responding again. After it starts responding again then it will stop responding again the processor is a Intel 2 core Duo T9600 2.88GHz or around there i did not type everything that is what it pretty much said. and the ram is 4 GB and my Graphics card is a NVIDIA GTX 260m. I know some stuff form computers and fixed this before but I can not this time so...

In that case, run an ePSA diagnostic and HDtune benchmark to check for hardware errors.
If nothing comes up, it could be a software problem. Try a clean boot as explained here. Let me know if the issue persists.
