So I received an Alienware laptop from a friend and we got into a giant argument and I'm trying to transfer the laptop warranty under my name and it's not working. I think he might of put the warranty under a different name to spite me. I was wondering if anyone has been able to transfer the warranty of a device without the pervious owner details? Alienware has refused to help me out in any way because of privacy reasons and that I should come back with the name however I can't get the name because my "friend" refuses to talk or help me
