alienware x51 video card upgrade

I am thinking of upgrading my alien x51 from gtx 660 to gtx 760. I see the cards are the same size, but can it be done with the other variables involved?

I don't think so. The Case and the Power Supply are non standard.

GTX 660  has power target of   115W +75W from the Slot
GTX 760   has power target of 170W + 75W from the Slot
660 uses 6 Pin Aux Power connectors  (150W Max)
760 uses 8 Pin Aux Power connectors  (300W Max)
There is very little wiggle room due to the minimized power supply.

(150W-225W) cards can occupy two slots (225W-300W) cards may occupy three slots

Delivering Power to Cards  A 300W add-in card can receive power by the following methods:
 75W from x16 PCIe® connector plus 150W from a 2x4 connector plus 75W from a 2x3 connector.

75W from x16 PCIe connector plus 75W from a first 2x3 connector, plus 75W from a second 2x3 connector, plus 75W from a third 2x3 connector.
– Note that this is not the preferred approach.

A 225W add-in card can receive power by one of the following methods:
75W from x16 PCIe connector plus 150W from a 2x4 connector. This is what the 760 uses.
