Alienware X51 Wifi Buzzing Sound?
Hello,
I've recently discovered that using the internal Wifi connection on the X51 produces a distinct high pitched buzzing sound. Up until now, I have only been using it hardwired ethernet into router but now that the noisy fan issue is fixed, moved back to my room.
When Wifi is connected, it keeps buzzing intermittently in such a high pitched tone to the extent it's difficult to sleep when on. Once I switch off wireless connection in the Win7 taskbar, immediately stops. Connect again and it starts again.
Wondering if anyone else has noticed this before I pester Customer Service?
X51 is a lovely clever little machine yet riddled with so many problems, such a shame!

Thanks guys. There's definitely a distinct buzzing sound when wifi is switched on. At first I thought it was the drive but definitely wifi. Tried it straight and on it's side, same thing. Buzzing when connected, no buzz when using wired. Tried another old router, just to check, does the same.
Thought I'd ask here first since I know there were WiFi issues previously & maybe someone else had similar issue, will contact customer service. Hopefully easy fix.
