AREA 51 r2 RAM
If I were going to upgrade the RAM in my AREA 51 r2(late 2014), Which of these would be a better choice. The auto settings in RAM speed would ever allow speeds to 3000? 2400 is achievable though.

Hi,
We can't recommend specific brands and being 3rd party hardware, there are many things that could interfere with compatibility. But this is the supported Memory Type: Four DDR4 slots, UDIMM, 2133 MHz.
You could also try posting this on the Notebook Review to see if another user has tried.

Well, I did it, I got the Crucial 32gb kit x 2666. Installed, typing from the machine lol. All shows 2400 cycles, 32.xxxx gigabytes. Freq in auto, no extreme xmp enabled. (should I?)

BTW after using Firestrike extreme/Firestrike Ultra new RAM vaulted my results by nearly 1000 points.
I have a Hall of fame for these two tests. !
