there is a tiny Screw on the Back inbetween the two Latches. remove it and the Lock will open. happened to me as well when i got the PC.

Sometimes it's good to actually read the manual or watch a YouTube video.
You can also call Alienware phone support (if it's new).
Maybe it's locked?
