Black screen with cursor on boot, using Graphics Amp
Hi all,
I'm having trouble with my Alienware Graphics Amplifier, it has previously worked well, all of a sudden it isn't functioning the same way.
I plug an external monitor into my amp and boot the laptop, I get a mirrored monitor, both screens are black with the cursor. If I plug the external monitor directly into the laptop the monitor works normally.
I have updated the BIOS, Graphics Amp, Command Center, Display Adapters, and still the same issue.
Thanks,
Philo

Hi philosovr.
any Chance you can try a different Graphics Card or remove the GPU and try it with another Desktop?

I ended up needing to update the graphics card in the Graphics Amp. So many moving pieces, had to work through updating each part and it ended up working out.
Thanks for the reply.
