Broken Alienware 14 charger

Is there any way to repair/fix it instead of buying a new one?

Generally speaking, power adapters are built as a consumable... in other words.... they are meant to be hopefully recycled properly when they die.... and a replacement purchased. They really are not that expensive when you compare the cost of the laptop they power.

If you have this type of issue frequently you may need to invest in a power conditioner:

Product that does power conditioning: HERE (Amazon)

Well the part near where it is supposed to be plugged in broke and I can't charge the laptop. So there is no way to fix it by ductape or anything else?

Ahh, I see the photo now...  If the laptop doesn't take a charge when you plug it in then you need a new power supply.  There is not really a way to fix that doesn't end in frying/damaging the laptop (which is likely) or burning down the house/apartment.

If you plug the cord in and the laptop takes a charge then you could just slap electrical tape on it and be good. But unfortunately if it doesn't take a charge then that suggest that the critical connections are damaged and there not really a way to fix that.
