It seems that my Alienware 17 R3 cannot update its Chipset Intel Management Engine interface driver to v11.0.0.1173, A02. The SupportAssisttells me I need to Reboot my machine before proceeding. After Reboot, nothing will happen and same story again.
We're currently working to get that behavior straightened. Thanks for the feedback. There's no need to keep trying to download the update. The version you currently have is the latest one available.
I was hoping this will resolve my laptop's issue regarding its SHUTDOWN problem. It occasionally gets stuck in middle of Shutdown process and I have to press and hold power button to shut it off manually. (Win 10)
This is very frustrating for a $3K brand new laptop. Isn't it?

Do you have the latest Bios version installed?

That's not the Bios driver, please install the driver here.

Unfortunately power-related issues still exist. Whenever I select 'SLEEP' option from Windows start menu, laptop shuts itself down.
