Desktop slow response time after latest windows update

Hi, I hope you're having a good day, I'm having a problem after the creator's update which is that when I hover my cursor over the desktop icons the highlight rectangles take a while to show and the same goes for the start menu, pinned taskbar icons and tray icons there some sort of a delay in general what's weird is that the rest of the system works flawlessly I'm having this issue on the desktop only, I really hope you can help me out, because I already installed the OS multiple times from scratch I don't know what else to do, thanks in advance.
