Display Flickering after Image Persistence Issue 15 R2
I was using my laptop - and I noticed that the image on the screen were not clearing up. So I decided to do a reboot - and even on the bios screen - the last screen on windows persisted with some transparency.
To troubleshoot - I used an HDMI cable and connected it to my TV - everything was ok. Turning of the laptop and turning it back on yielded the same results. Always had that windows screen even on the bios page!
I gave up and slept for a 6 hours. Upon turning on my computer the persistent image is gone, but I now have a lot of flickering.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the intel and NVidia - but still the flickering persists. The bios screen flickers too...

Hi,
This issue may be more hardware related. Perhaps its an LCD failure or the cable that connects the display assembly to the system board could be loose. For hardware assistance, send me your Service Tag in a PM.
