Does anyone know what core overclocking level means?

I take it this has something to do with the CPU, I have a i7-6700k running at 4.00GHz. Can this CPU be overclocked?

I don't really play with OC much, but while stress testing my i7-7700k (at stock/normal clocks)... I've gotten mine up to 75c.

I think TJMax for  i7-6700k is around 99c

I have three options LV1, LV2 and customization, I assume LV2 has a higher speed than LV1?

Hi dharmadan815‌,

Those are factory levels, each will take your processor to a higher, yet secure, speed. If you enable it, make sure you monitor the temps of your machine.

My CPU is water cooled, the current temp is 24°, what temperature would be dangerous? Anything over 30-40?
