Have some questions

You're probably best to contact tech support again to confirm what they are, but:

1.  The 'Accessory Kit' is likely to be either the just things like the keyboard, mouse, speakers etc... or a 'freebie' pack of (cheap - possibly useless) bits 'n' bobs?

2.  I'm not sure what the ' S&P Drop in box Marcrom for DHS Desktops' is either - but Marcrom are a Marketing/Communications company, so it *could* just be a special offer?

3.  I don't know what the ANW on the end stands for, but 'Cyberlink PDVD 8.0' (Dell obviously assume everyone already knows what it is!?) is just the shortened name for Cyberlink's PowerDVD (8.0) software, which is required for playing Blu-Ray discs.

The version you'll get is a cut-down Dell OEM variant though - of the previous release.  PowerDVD 9.0.x has been available for quite a while now.

4.  Soft contacts Banktec care?  It's quicker/easier for me just to let you read about them - here.

I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions why you're being given (what appears to be at least?) a list of contacts?

I've been of no help at all really   I knew I wasn't going to be, which is why I started this post in the way I did

But I wish Dell would print things in full - instead of in shorthand... and - where necessary (such as the items you've listed), briefly mention what each item is/refers to, such that customers don't have to just guess what each item might be
