Help

I just bought a used Alienware 14.  I am a big fan of the Sims games so I purchased Sims 4 and it won't work. It keeps saying something about a game card.  I am not a computer savvy person when it comes from. I want to upgrade it but I have no idea where to start and I also want to upgrade my storage to 1TB. Is any of this possible?

Hi,

Can you tell me the exact error message?

In the mean time please check the following things:

  • Issue with Origin in Game
  • Your graphics drivers are outdated

The issue you're having can be related to the Optimus technology.

Open device manager and check if the two video cards are showing (INTEL/NVIDIA) under display devices, if they are please add the Sims 4 game to the white list.

Click here and follow the video instructions on how to add the game to the white.
