High wireless ping on Alienware 17
Hi guys,
I have just recently purchased a new Alienware 17 (The M17x-R5 does not exist. DELL-Chris M), however, im having problem whenever i use wireless lan connection on games. There seem to be high ping make it unplayable to most of games. Ive been searching for solution in the internet and most people said it's the wireless card the Broadcom 822.11ac. They said i could ask for the killerwireless instead. Anyone have any solution to this lag?

Hi Wood P, have you tried to reinstall the wireless card driver? You can get the best version here. Also, you can follow this article to determine if the problem is the network or the wireless card.

Hi,
I am trying to replace it with old killer wireless.
The problem still persist with reinstallation of driver. However, i have called Dell Uk today, they said i could be because of new network card which is the 801.22ac. Meaning that my router could be too old for it

i have the same problem, i play league of legends and im having lots of ping i re installed the drivers but it didn't worked but when i plug in an ether-net i have no lag i compared the results of a speedtest with my brothers computer and it gave constant 98 mps and my computer gave like 30 but in the graph it wasn't constant at all, when i play i have like 2 secs delay that makes impossible to land attacks so what can i do???
btw i have a brand new router

Dear Gonzila11,
For me, the replacement of the wireless card works! The killer wireless does it job perfectly.
If you do not have any other better solution, I suggest you to switch to killer wireless. I hope this helps.

Im playing WorldOfTank i hawe ping up to 360. Please help some one. I hawe instal all drivers and try to instal new windows but didnt work. Realy need buy new wifi card ? Just now i haw broadcom 802.11ac .meaby someone can say best card model of killer series ?
