I want my computer!!!

I guess this is just a way to vent. I ordered my computer November 8 so as of today it has been two months. I am now on my 10th delay.  I was supposed to get it the 11th they did give me next business day. I was expecting to see the email today that my system shipped when I did not get the email I called the automated system says the 11th but when I get on with a CS they say now the 18th another week delay.  I just know that next Friday I will be in the same boat. They will delay another week.  I should just cancel this order and hope for the best on another order, but I don’t want to be put back at the bottom of a  list ten miles long.  They bad thing about it is I didn’t get the email your order has been delayed we need to hear from you our your order will be canceled.  When I called them I told them to make sure it is not canceled.  I am really getting to hate dell. This may be the last time I ever buy anything from them. What makes me mad is reading all the forums I know people have ordered the same system I have and they did it after I did, and they have gotten it already.   I know there is a thread like this already,   but seeing as so many have posted there I figure we can start a new one.  Plus it gives me a chance to vent.   I hate dells customer care because they do not care.  Oh he did say it will be expedited so yea. Maybe I will get it by next Christmas.  I just want my computer.  I guess I should have not bought the "cheap" model if you think 1800 is cheap.  Here is what I got. let me know your horror story  Who would have thought two and a half months for a computer. Oh yea i also got the 25 buck gift card it will be void after 90days that only 30 days or so away so ther goes that.

I know how you feel, I ordered mine 19'th of December and still says In Production, now I know that isn't too long of a wait for me so far but I hope when my shipping day comes I don't get any delays. I've already called Dell and asked if there was going to be any known delays or if they are short on parts or anything and all the CS could say was "Your EDD is the 25'th of January" not even acknowledging my question.

 

After reading other people's complaints on the forum it influences me not to buy from Dell anymore.

Their customer service is horrible.

If i knew then What i know now that is my post. it.s not just AW that this is going on with i ordered a STUDIO ONE 19 with multi touch &blu ray got it  in 15 day and it didn't work sent it back and like you're -self  it's been 62 day's  and i've made 3 payments. i've been calling and sending emails every day asking for some kind of rebate was told each and every time 'NO'  REBATE OF ANY KIND. oh well what can we do.  now the last time i called i was told the reason that my system is taking so long is because of the BluRay 48day delay OMG now you tell me .  and to think i was thinking of getting a Aurora Desktop at one time and to think i would have been in the same place i am wow i didn't think of that tell now.  don't tell Dell but i ewnt out and got a HP just to hold me over.  one more thing you are going to love you're Aurora when you get it it is a very nice system.  and if you need to vent anymore i'm here bro.

im a little gitty i look at  my emails and what do i see you order has shipped. but it did say it was shipped on saturday.  so eitherr dell is putting in some OT or  my computer is lost in neverland.  we will see it say that  it should be herer by the 12th so i will let you all know on the twelth if i have a new computer of not. Heres hoping i have new computer  and not another email saying i hve to reorder cause it has been lost.  also  I wish they would update stuff for me  seeing as  i had to waitso long but knowing dell i think not. WOOT MY COMPUTER IS FINALLY COMING!!!!

You shouldn't be paying on the system in that case. If you have not received a satisfactory response from Dell and paid with the Dell Preferred account or another credit product, you should open a transaction dispute with whomever the line of credit issuer is. That will prevent you from getting charged for a product that you did not receive in working condition until Dell handles it. When DFS/CIT charges the transaction back to Dell, that'll get them motivated.
