In voice chats I keep echoing

So whenever I'm in a voice chat I end up echoing whatever somebody says. My audio driver is Sound Blaster Recon3Di and I even tried to get Razer Surround Audio Controller to help or something but I still echo. I also have Intel(R) Display Audio but it's not there in the playback section thing. In the recording part of the sound place Microphone Array is default, and when somebody speaks the green light glows up meaning I really am echoing too. help pls. Alienware M14x R2

Hi ‌,

Did you already tried reinstalling the audio driver?

The easiest fix would be to not use the built-in speakers and built-in mic at the same time. You can also try turning down the volume.

That's why most people use either ear-phones/headphones or a full headset.

Yes i am using my apple earphones to listen. And what do you mean by not using built-in speakers and built-in mic at the same time?

I guess you mean from an iPhone. Those have a built-in mono-mic. Normally, I would say those are wrong to use, but I see this laptop DOES have a third analog audio "combo port" that supports a headset with mic. So, those are fine to use in that port. Be sure dual-mics in display's bezel are disabled.

What else can I do to prevent this echo?

Open Alienware audio turn down or mute stereo mix. If that don't work turn off Dolby surround.
