Installing Win7 AW17 R3 how/help
How do I install windows 7. It came preinstalled with windows 10 but I can't install windows 7.
I get stuck at looking for drivers.
I assume my ssd 951 and usb 3.0 are the problems. I tried to "slipstream" the drivers into a iso I failed i dont know what to do
I have purchased a copy of windows 7 so that's not an issue.
PLease help me. I have software that won't run on windows 10 and need to change to windows 7

Hi,
Windows 7 is not supported on the AW17R3, that's why we don't have drivers.

There is a work around for it. I just don't know how to embed my SSD driver USB 3.0 Driver into the installation CD. I tried to use Nlite and I failed.

I was hoping to get help here. I have software issues for work and it's a real inconvenience.

Okay so I got it to boot up with the 3.0 usb drivers.. I now need help to get my SSD drive to appear in the install list.. as in where to install the OS. I am unable to select my pm951 samsung ssd 256GB.. I have my HDD available but not the SSD

We have never installed/tested Windows 7 on this system model. Therefore, we cannot confirm how to resolve these issues. Try looking on support forums like Alienware Arena or Notebook Review, you may find some useful information on those forums.
