intel my wifi technology adapter not found
I just received My M17x r2 and when i tried to connect to my wireless network the intel my wifi stated that the adapter could not be found. the wireless adapter installed is the Intel® Centrino® Ultimate-N 6300.

Not sure if the Alienware laptops have a physical switch for WiFi?
My Acer Timeline has one at the front as does my partners Toshiba. Maybe check that your WiFi adapter is actually turned on via a physical switch on the actual laptop.

Well i spent some time with tech support and it turns out that the wireless card was DOA. btw it does have a switch but it turns out that wasn't it. thanks for the info though.
