Locked BIOS settings

My alienware has intel HD grapics as the dedicated graphic driver and nvidia as the secondary.The BIOS Settings to change the dedicated graphic card has been locked not accessible by me. Any suggestions ?

Yes actually the Bios in most of our systems are coming locked.

What make and model Alienware computer do you have?

What I mean is that there are things in the BIOS that you cannot change for example enable or disable a video card.

i have seen people unlocking the bios for systems like m11x and changing the primary graphics card....the display quality will be improved drastically if i make nvidia as my primary gpu and intel as secondary but it wont let me ...any methods to unlock the bios or change the primary gpu

The only way to do it using an unlock BIOS, but we do not support that so maybe you can ask on a modification forum, they may be able to guide on where to find it and how to do it.

try to degrade your bios or install other bios that will do the work if not overwrite the bios by other bios like lenove or lg etc.etc
