Master I/O board swap

My Alienware tower is an older version that I got back in 2009. I have recently acquired a front bezel for my Aurora which has the front side lights. I was looking at the master I/O board ( ver 0D) and saw that there were no pins for the two connectors. I can see where the pins would be but there are just solder nubs. My question is, can I get a newer version master I/O board to replace the one I have to render the lights operational? The system I have is still working like a champ and I have no intention of getting a new one so I want to customize this one if I can.
