Memory configuration for X51 R3
The Alienware X51 R3 manual states configuration supported is 4 - 8-16 & 32 Gb. Does this mean that you can't have a 8 Gb module and a 4 Gb module for a total of 12 Gb? I know in the old days memory modules had to be matched.
On your next computer, please put the Hard drive indicator lamp back on the computer. It would be helpful to know if the computer is using the hard drive and not froze up.
