Windows Updates frequently ruin the functionality of programs, PC games (i.e. AppCrash, CLR, Side-by-Side and "Stopped Working" errors) and utilities that rely on the Microsoft .NET Framework and AWCC is one of the victims. I used to have this all the time and it has always surfaced immediately following a messed up Windows Update. Disabling Windows Updates stopped all of the nonsense. It has been more than a year since I had Windows Updates disabled and my systems have never been more stable.
You can always manually apply a critical security patch if you need to. Microsoft uses the "shotgun method" and Windows Updates are pushed on machines whether they actually need them or not. At the very least, turn off Automatic Windows Updates. Manually check for them. Decide which ones actually matter and install them in very small batches with a Windows System Restore Point between each batch. Then, when things go wrong you can roll back your system and mark the Windows Updates in that batch as hidden so that you never see them again.
Forgot to mention, I have also reinstalled alienware command several times. I do notice when I uninstall it the computer seems to shut down normally every time.
I get this from time to time as well just hit shut down anyway and it will reboot fine .net is from microsoft and could be from a program you have that is hanging up and uses the .net i would not worry about it, I have it like i said from time to time and i just ignore it usually after a reboot it's fine. if it says what .net it's using you could re-install it unless it's the one that's built into windows then it kind of hard to do it. It's hard to troubleshoot ,net errors as several of your programs could use it.
You should use a registry cleaned to rid Windows of all prior Command Center (CC) garbage after uninstalling the CC. Run a program made by IOLO, System Mechanic. It does a great job.
After cleaning system, restart and reinstall CC.
Another forum for Windows issues would be this site, but your problem is with the CC.

when I uninstall alienware command, it seems to run fine every time, its when I reinstall it.
I was told about the cleaning registry programs IE Iolo soft. some people say that stuff is not good, there is an article on Microsoft's own site by them stating not to use that stuff. any sugestions on this
