New Alienware 15 r2 Keeps Crashing

I got this computer a week ago and so far I can't use it for more than five minutes without the display driver crashing multiple times, and eventually the computer crashing. I've tried running diagnostic tests, uninstalling the display drivers(both Intel and Nvidia), and reinstalling them. So far, nothing. I'm really frustrated because it's had this problem since day one. Is there any help, or should I just send it back?

Did you order your AW15 R2 with the UHD screen or FHD?

I have the FHD display, and the driver crashes from time to time, mainly during start up just after I log in into windows.

I have updated all the drivers and this crashing thing stills happens. Sometimes there is a pop-up message from Windows and sometimes don't.

If there is a fix please share it with the forum.

l.herrera, You're welcome!  I just got my AW15R2 a week ago as well.  I did have the issue with the Intel display drivers crashing.  I opened up the NVidia control panel and changed the Microsoft Edge program to use the NVidia driver exclusively and I haven't had the "crash" since.

How is your Killer Wireless acting?  Mine was fine for the first week...Now, It keeps dropping off when under heavy load.

Thanks ACE_AW15R2, I just posted a comment in that post. I hope we can fix these issues soon.

Hi ACE_AW15R2, I will try the Edge solution, so far I still have from time to time the pop-up message that the drivers crashed and were restarted.

Regarding the Killer Wireless everything works just fine, I primarily connect through LAN but when using the wireless card I have not had any issues. BTW, last week I installed the latest network drivers just to be up-to-date.

I am facing similar issues. Brand new laptop and keeps going into boot loop of start -  login screen -  BSOD - reboot -  start.

Once running dell diagnostic stress test caused it to reboot.  Got the laptop on Friday and have done factory image re-install 6 times so far.  Thinking of returning the same. Worst mistake in my life to buy Alienware

This worked with some caveats on implementing it. One has to delete the 32 bit DWORD version and add the 64 but QWORD registry then it'd work.
