New system and Alienrespawn upgrade code doesn't work

I received a new system after a number of repair attempts and when I try to upgrade my Alienrespawn using the purchase code from my email, the upgrade fails with no information beyond "upgrade failed" in red tyepface.

I don't want to have to buy Alienrespawn premium again and am quickly on the way to uninstalling the program completely.
