No AlienFX at Boot.

In the past when i press the power button, all the FX lights came on. Now it only works after i log into my account. Can someone tell me how to enable AlienFX lights at boot? Right when i press the power button i want my lights to come on as it did when i bought my laptop.

Some recent windows update or dell update caused that issue. I have no idea how to fix it. Tried everything possible. No help from dell so far.

Try this.

Left click on icon notifications in bottom right corner near date and time.

Right click on the Alienware AlienFX icon.

Select "Go Dark"

Then Select "Go Light"

Hopefully this will help.

Hello sir,

I tried everything possible. everything mentioned in the forums. no luck. please tell alienware to update the command center and test in on their systems before they update it on their website. there can be lots of compatibility issues with windows 10 coming out and new drivers and updates flowing in. alienware command center can keep up with all these updates unless alienware sends updates for the systems on their side. i have spend so much money on this system. and such poor and unprofessional help from dell. really disappointed.

No hope yet brother. Tried everything I possibly could. Dell has to address this issue and fix it. The command center doesn't respond properly to the system hardware. I don't know why dell won't use systems like we do. Keeping system updated with windows update and see if everything with the system driver etc checks out. Instead wait till someone has a problem with it. So disappointing.

Yes. Tried everything. Since I'm under warranty I might give my system back to dell for service. They will change my motherboard most probably.

But i have used alien respawn to reset my pc to factory state already! No change still! Why? Did your try the step by discussing your batteries fully and then plugging in and starting?

Man, i am really sure that there is no problem with your motherboard, just some problem with drivers or config.

Lets hope not. But there were a few guys on the forums with the similar issues who send their systems to dell service and go their motherboard replaced. My laptop is a total beast. But is light issue is so annoying! FIX IT ALREADY DELL!!!!!!

Hey, I know how to fix this problem. I am sure you are using Alienware Command Center 4.0.54 since I updated to this version today and having the same problem, just uninstall it and download 4.0.53 version from Dell, once you've installed, reboot your system and all will be fine.
