Okay temp for my alienware 15?
Hi.
First time Alienware user. Just got this mashine
Alienware 15
i5 4210H, 16GB Ram, 2x256GB m2 sata, 1tb hdd, gtx 965 ect.
Under load the cpu gets close to 80 c. the gpu runs at max 64 c.
Is that okay temp, should i find a fan control program so i can get the fan to spin faster.?
thanks.

Hi,
We recommend you have the latest Bios firmware installed, click here for the download link. There should be no need to download a fan control program for them to run properly. What exactly are you doing with the system when it goes to 80C on the CPU?

Hi.
Im playing Battlefield 4 online, then it goes to 80 c. the cpu is also under 100% load but thats normal.
I just wish the fan would spin faster so its run cooler under 100% load.
I have tried hw64info and manuel set the fan to 70 % speed, then the cpu stay under 70 under 100% load, but i hate to start a program and then set fan before a game. :(

Hi,
As long as it doesn't go above 90C, I don't think you should worry. You could also run an ePSA/Diagnostics test to check the CPU. Click here to view an article that explains how to run this test.
