Power supply - M15x
Why does the M15X not recognize a higher wattage power supply?
I can put a Dell 130W PS versus the 150W supplied and the bios will see it but the computer runs slower (expected). But if I put a Dell 180W, it shows unknown in the Bios and runs as slow as the 130W.
Bios ver. 1.8
Any ideas or workarounds?

Hi ser3nity,
Request you to use the below link and try updating BIOS which will also enhance the computer performance:

Also let me know the reason to use 180W AC Adaptor when the computer performs well with a 150Watt AC Adaptor.

Hello ser3nity,
The BIOS will not recognize the 180W because the BIOS limits the system to a 150W power supply and it can't go any higher than that. You can try to use it but it will not charge the battery.
