Question regarding R4 and SSDs
I have an R4, and I rebuilt my machine last year to put a new 500 GB SSD in, and at the time I also had one additional one.
Can I put a total of 4SSDS in my R4? When I rebuilt it last time I had to put my SSD into a specific slot, because it was not recognized in one.
Eventually if possible I'd like to put 4 larger SSDs in the computer.

Hi,
The Aurora R4 has 4 SATA II 3.0Gb/s ports and 2 SATA III 6.0Gb/s ports. We recommend running 2 SSDs on the SATA III ports so that they run at their full speed.

Hi,
Just to confirm, are you referring to the Alienware Aurora R4?

Yes, that is correct.
I have an Alienware Aurora R4, and was curious as to how many SSDs I can have. I thought I read somewhere once that the way the the motherboard was configured I could only have two. But I want to be able to put 4 in.
