REQUIRE HELP WITH Thermal Paste Reapplication

Question

Hi guys!My M14x R2 is not under warranty anymore but I need to re-apply thermal paste. First off, I'm a computer n00b when it come to the internal parts. So if any of you have steps a-z on how and where to re-apply thermal paste on my said laptop, it would be great!! I was thinking of getting http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042IEVD8/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 AND http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007TOR08/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00 as i heard these are one of the best out there. Is this all i would need?And if so, how do I do everything? I have been google-ing up solutions but I was shown only for PC's and I understand those are easier to handle and meddle with.
