system recovery problem

Load these in this order, restarting in between each one, then test the AlienFX-

Intel Ibex Peak PCH Chipset
Ricoh R5C833
Alienware Command Center

You have to reinstall the programs over themselves (point the installer to the directory they no reside in) so they get recreated in the widows registry.

I am in desparate need of your help and suggestions....I bought an M15x three weeks ago from the US....now,the problem is I live in india and when I recieved the pc from my sister(who lives in the US) ,the system was completely virus infected...so I had the drive formatted,re-partioned(but I left the factory hidden recovery parition just the way it was..) ...installed the Windows7 recovery CD and loaded all the drivers(some newer updated ones from the net as well).........

Now,the problem is none of the lights of the System are working(I mean none....not even the power on alien head)!! I read all your posts ans tried everything i possibly could to restore the factory default settings(I am a computer engineer myself) but nothing has worked..I havent slept for days trying to fix it...  :)

And the factory installed steam account,alienware themes and everything has all disappeared and i am not being able to recover it...I dont have a alienware respawn 2.0 CD but i have the OS and drivers CD.........

Can you please help me out??? I am waiting very eagerly for your reply.......Thanks !!!

i redownloaded the drivers and the command center but now my keyboard does not light up and the command center isnt even recognizing that it can light up, how do i fix this problem?

I have never heard of our factory image going out with a virus? The M15x does not ship with the Respawn DVD. Did you try the boot to F8-System Recovery Options- Dell Factory Image Restore?

when i rebooted and hit f8 i did not see system recovery or dell factory image restore.
