Tobii eye tracking not working/connected

I just received my 17 R4 last night and I configured it to use Windows Hello, which was working up until today. After windows did it's update thing today (KB3200970, KB3199986), the Tobii eye tracker no longer works and Windows when booting says it can't turn on the camera.

I tried reinstalled Tobii from dell support, which didn't work. Also tried the updated core from tobii's site. That didn't work.

Also tired the IR Camera drivers from here: www.dell.com/.../DriversDetails didn't work.

Any suggestions? I've read of other's that have issues with the KB3199986 update.

I should also add that I am on the latest bios, 1.0.8, and still no luck with getting the tobii eye tracker to work after the windows update.

Finally got it to work! Not sure if this was luck, but I spent about 5 hours fidgeting with the steps.

First: If you have not obtained your free copy of Watchdogs 2 (Voucher), here's how to get it if Tobii is not working. In your registry go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER --- SOFTWARE --- Tobii --- Vouchers. There is a link in there that you can use to redeem the voucher. It'll take you to tobii.com and have you register on the tobii website (make sure you use your link). Once verified and logged in, you can click on voucher. So do that first.

Steps:

The only issue I have remaining is when I have Tobii running the keyboard lighting dims and brightens.

Hi, I met the same problem.

May I ask where can I "Uninstall the Eye Track driver in device manager under USB devices."

I cannot find it in the device manager.

I also tried IR Camera drivers but I still cannot find this one in the device manager either.

I have the same problem. The only fix that seems to work every time that it stops working again every week or so is to reinstall the Dell system bios even if it is just the same version of bios you already have. Every time I have installed the bios update the Tobii IR Eye Tracker starts working again and the Windows Hello doesn't say it can't turn the camera on anymore. Of course after about 6 or 7 days mine will stop working again and I have to repeat the bios update to get it functional again.

I did everything you've mentioned above, it looks that's working just fine, I would like to add, I didn't find nay tobii driver on device manager, so I decided clean up all the drivers not connected at the moment, accidentally I uninstalled my 502 logitech mouse, after that tobii started working not fine, but it worked, so I kept going with all the steps on the list, by the time I finished tobii was working like magic, my system is not a 17 R4 but 15 R3, just I needed to searched for the right  tobii driver core driver!!!

Thank you
