yea you are correct with it suppost to be something to do with OSD, make sure you download current On Screen Display from dell website, its a compal system controller ,if OSD dont fix it, its most likely a bad windows install since the driver is suppost to be installed with windows, if you have original windows DVD you can get the driver off it by searching it manually .. can also try windows update to see if it pulls a driver
Unfortunately there is no OSD Download for the AW 17 R2. And this Driver does not belong to the OS.
Ich checked the Full System Backup from the original Installation. I could find a file "Alienware On-Screen Display.msi". However that file cannot be installed.
So I guess the Software/Driver Download section is not complete yet.

I am having the same Problem.
