*WARNING* Alienware Graphics Amplifier Watts Issue
Hello Everyone,
[Article 06MAY16] This is the bring an awareness about whoever will purchase the Alienware Graphics Amplifier.
I purchased my Alienware model directly from the website and added the Alienware Graphics Amplifier but what I did not know is the WATTS.

This is the link direct to Manufacturer Part# : 8W39R | Dell Part# : 452-BCFE
URL: http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&sku=452-BCFE
It clearly shows in the techinical specs this:
Power Provided 460W

URL: http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=a8435565
It clearly shows in the techinical specs this:
Required Power Supply 750W
-----
The web site doesn't provide you a selection of Amplifier with the WATTS, what is that about or am I missing something?!?!
This is what it looks like:
Please let me know if anyone else has had this problem or issues with the Amplifier due to higher WATTS usage from the graphic card then what the output is from the Amplifier.
Thank you everyone and good day!

Hello everyone,
It took time to find the information but after calling VisionTek, they finally were able to tell me exactly how much does the video card itself requires.
THIS IS THE INFORMATION:
750W (or greater) power supply with one 150W 8-pin PCI Express power connector and one 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connector recommended.
The video card itself needs exactly 150W + 75W which means a total of 225W BUT it required in fact 350W for the video card ONLY! The 750W is for the desktop motherboard while the Amplifier provides only power directly to the video card so 460W is good.
Thank you Dell for not sharing this information and I had to call the source directly.
Good day everyone!
