Warranty on refurbished
Hi
I am going to purchase a M17x R4 and want to buy a refurbished unit probably on ebay
4 questions
1 Is the warranty acutually 1 year?
2 Can I extend it to a longer warranty?
3 How?
4 Do you have a list of authorized refurbished resellers?

I bought a refurb R3 from the Dell Outlet. It comes with a one year warranty and I extended it to 4 years. When you buy the machine from Dell outlet, there is an option to extend the warranty and it will give you the corresponding prices. Here is the link http://www.dell.com/content/segmenter.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dfo make sure to check the coupons on the scrolling screen, just saved about $170 on my daughter's laptop.
