Weird Video effects and crashes
Running Windows 7 64-bit on a Alienware Area-51 Desktop (Late 2009) with Dual ATI Radeon 5770 graphics. Have started experiencing random video issues which are increasing in frequency. First the cursor develops a pixelated box around it, then weird hieroglyphic type symbols appear in the title bars, then screen becomes pixelated and buzzing with horizontal lines then crashes to a light gray screen with black vertical lines. Anyone experienced this or have any suggestions on cause?

I will recommend you to uninstall the video card driver, download and install the latest version you find in the ATI website, as well it will be good if you run an Antivirus scan and a PSA diagnostic just to make sure there is not hardware issues.
