X51 R2 Realtek Manager

Hello, 

Try uninstalling all of the Realtek audio software that you show in the Programs and Features list (If any), also uninstall the audio drivers that you show in Device Manager under sound, video and game controllers and restart your computer. After doing this, try reinstalling the Realtek audio driver from the Dell support site. Click here for the driver download link. Also make sure your system is running the latest Bios firmware, click here for the Bios download link. Let us know how it goes.

I got the latest bios. I Also have done what you proposed numerous times before i post it here.

For some reason ( guess it's a Windows 10 thing ) whenever i uninstall the drivers , upon restarting my pc, the drivers are installing by themselves.

And when i use the latest Realtek drivers, because of the previous problem , i have an endless loop from the installation program, of uninstalling /restart /installing/uninstalling/restart and so on.

Must have done it about 6 times, before i manually stopped it.

And never, i get the Realtek Audio manager. Only the Maxx Audio Pro, that is not that "pro" at all.

So any info on how to stop the automatic installation of drivers ?

To disable the drivers from installing by themselves, follow the steps below.

• Click the Start Button and search for system.
• Click on Advanced system settings.
• Click on the Hardware option on the top
• Click on the Device Installation Settings option.
• Select the “No, let me choose what to do” option
• Select the “Never install driver software from Windows update” option and click Save Changes.

I think i already ahve done this. Not sure all the way to “Never install driver software from Windows update”.
