2350: Need help increasing memory used by graphics controller?

I read that I could increase the amount of memory used by my the Intel graphics controller but can not find out how to do this.  Can anyone help?

I believe Windows automatically adjusts the amount of memory (up to 64mb) that it uses depending on the application.

Are you trying to play some games, and if so, which ones?

I installed a DVD player and it won't play dvds.  Making me crazy.  Added .5 Gig of memory.  All upgrades.

No luck.

Oh, sorry.  If you needed an add-on video card, I could point you in the right direction, but I have no knowledge about CD/DVD players.

You might want to post this in the CD/DVD player section of the forums, if you haven't already.  You might have better luck there.

Good luck on your search for a fix.

What brand DVD player did you buy?  You can try a couple different troubleshooting techniques.  First, go into your device manager and uninstall the drive (post back if you need further instructions).  When windows reboots, the device should reinstall.  If this doesn't help, I would check the manufacturer's website for any firmware updates.  And, have you installed the latest driver set for the video chipset from www.intel.com?
